L’Oreal Professionnel Portfolio Congress – Mykonos, Greece.
Flew to the beautiful island of Mykonos for the Biennial L’Oréal Professionnel Portfolio Congress 2012 – a weekend for networking, trend inspiration, business education and a glass or 2 of champagne!
The three-day trip was based at the plush Mykonos Grand Hotel and included one tasty dinner after the next, flowing champagne and trips around the island by boat, jeep or foot.
Digital whizz kid Josh Spear, one of the most influential digital marketing strategists from New York-based consultancy Undercurrent, discussed how engaging clients and developing long lasting meaningful relationships is key to future success.
Hamish Taylor, a brand guru who focuses on enabling organisations to achieve breakthroughs by looking outside their current environment, gave insightful tips and advise by asking yourself the simple question “clients come to my salon above all others because….” Hamish advises clients such as Time Warner, General Motors and Citibank.
Trends A/W12 and S/S13 were presented by Nilufar Khalessi of the prestigious Nelly Rodi agency in Paris followed by a simple breath taking show by Frédéric Pavard of Alexandre de Paris draped in Stéphane Rolland couture.
