It seems that Mark Woolley’s latest hangout for the past few weeks has been the creative hub that is East London. Descending into Shoreditch with Hollywood actor, Luke Evans (Clash of the Titans, Tamara Drewe, Robin Hood), Mark cut and styled Luke’s hair for an American magazine photo shoot. Luke loved his cut so much that he declared that it was the best haircut that he’d ever had – very high praise.
Electric were then brought in to style Luke’s hair for the premiere of The Three Musketeers, in which he stars as Aramis.
Last night Mark Woolley and the Electric Art Team for L’Oreal Professionnel helped kick off London Fashion Week in style at the Daniel James fashion show in Bloomsbury.
Daniel James is the godfather of latex and fashion design and has an uber-cool international celebrity following. The stunning new collection featured the finest soft rubber, French lace and chiffon in a palette of black, midnight blue, chocolate brown, olive green and plum.
The inspiration for the hair was ‘Jane Eyre meets Blade Runner’ so hair was sculpted into a voluminous, high centre pleat.
The models and guests were treated to cocktails and music, ranging from the Rolling Stones to Lady Gaga to keep them rocking all night long.

Mark Woolley, Founder and Creative Director at Electric Hairdressing styled the hair for indie-rock band Toploader at a photo shoot in Brighton on Mon 20th June.
With photography by Paul Winter, the finished product will be used as Toploader’s hero shots on all the promotional material for their new tour this Autumn.
Toploader (fronted by Joseph Washbourn, Dan Hipgrave, Matt Knight and Rob Green) have returned to the music scene with a new album, Only Human, a showcase of their edgier sound.
Mark Woolley, who favours strong silhouettes is a big rock and indie music fan, was a natural choice for the group who wanted to emphasise the direction of their new sound.

Rosie’s sexy half-up-half-down is effortlessly sexy.

Electric Hairdressing London are the official hair stylists for the young, hot and glamorous stars of Made in Chelsea (airs on E4, 10pm).
In an episode aired on Mon 30th May, two of the show’s stars, Alexandra ‘Binky’ Felstead and Ollie Locke, checked into Electric Hairdressing for a pampering Electric Hair Ceremony treatment and blow dry (£50) before heading out for an immaculate night in the town.
Binky opted for a classic smooth and bouncy blow dry, aided with Electric Smoothing Cream (£17), whilst Ollie Locke opted for more a voluminous and tousled ‘do, touched up with Electric Serum (£17), which impressed him so much that he asked “Do I look like Jesus?”. Where else could he get his God-like hair transformed into what is now the most iconic mane of the whole show?
